Dr. Richard A. Wray MD
Dr. Wray received his M.D. degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in 1985, followed by his residency and fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine from 1985 to 1992. During his tenure, he served as the chief internal medicine resident.
After practicing at HeartPlace Cardiology from 1993 until his retirement in May 2021, Dr. Wray took some time to travel. However, his passion for cardiology led him to join our practice as a general cardiologist.
He holds a lifetime certification with the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease. Additionally, Dr. Wray possesses Special Competence for Adult Echocardiography Board Certification.
